Seung Hee Lee, Ph.D.

Vice Chairman and Global CEO
Seung Hee Lee co-founded SOLiD Inc. in November 1998 and currently serves as Vice Chairman and Global CEO of SOLiD Inc. During the early stages of SOLiD, Dr. Lee led the company’s technology development as CTO and provided executive leadership and guidance as COO. Under his direction, SOLiD has grown to be a leading provider of wireless coverage solutions for communication networks, including NR, LTE, CDMA, WCDMA, WiBro (mobile WiMax), and satellite digital multimedia broadcasting networks. Before SOLiD, Dr. Lee was a senior member of the technical staff at SAIT (Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology), leading research on digital communication technologies. In 1998, he was appointed as a technology consultant for the future strategy team at Samsung and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Lee holds a B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Korea University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Scott Deweese

President, SOLiD Americas
Scott Deweese is the President of SOLiD Americas. Scott brings SOLiD over 20 years of business development, sales, operations, and executive management experience in the wireless industry. Since joining SOLiD in 2016, Scott has served as General Manager, SVP of Sales, responsible for Sales and Business Development, and SVP of Operations, responsible for all post-sales operations across the Americas. Before joining the SOLiD team, Scott served as the Executive Vice President of Intenna Systems and had sales leadership roles with MobileAccess and Andrew Corporation. Scott served six years on active duty as a commissioned officer in the United States Army upon graduating from the University of Central Florida.

Karl Schneider

Chief Financial Officer
As Global CFO, Karl Schneider provides executive leadership and oversight of the SOLiD’s global financial operations and initiatives. Prior to joining SOLiD, Karl spent 13 years as Zoran Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer, where under his guidance, the company grew revenues from $44 million to over $500 million. Karl’s financial leadership spans a wide variety of technology sectors and an impressive multinational and global portfolio. Mr. Schneider is a former CPA and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Joon Chung, Ph.D.

Chairman of the Board, Chief Strategy Officer
Joon Chung co-founded SOLiD Inc. in November 1998 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board and co-CEO. Dr. Chung is responsible for developing, overseeing, and leading global business activities in this capacity. As Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for SOLiD Americas, Dr. Chung will focus on strategic planning, analyzing market activity, developing long-term growth plans, identifying partnerships and potential merger and acquisition targets. Before SOLiD, Dr. Chung was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at KT and a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Seoul National University and earned a master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Yong Hoon Kang, Ph.D.

Chief Technology Officer
Yong Hoon Kang returned to SOLiD Inc. in 2016 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer. Before SOLiD, Dr. Kang was President and CEO of Pen Generations, a SOLiD company. He also worked for SOLiD from 2000 through 2009 as Marketing Director of the Global Business Division and R&D Team Manager of System Business Division. Before then, he worked at Samsung Electronics as Manager of Network Business Division and Telecommunications R&D Center and was a visiting scholar to Korea Telecom. Dr. Kang holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University.

Slavko Djukic

Vice President, Product Line Management and Technology, Americas
Slavko Djukic has more than twenty years of experience in telecommunications products and services. Before joining SOLiD, he served as Zinwave’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for setting and delivering its wireless technology roadmap. Before Zinwave, he served as Ericsson’s head of strategy and solutions for various wireless technologies. Before that, he served in a global wireless role for Corning and a leadership role with Powerwave, where he built and led the wireless solutions organization for the Americas. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama and his M.S.E.E. from the University of Colorado.

Shane Hague

Sr. Vice President, Sales & Business Development, Americas
Shane Hague is the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Shane leads sales, strategic accounts, and business development initiatives across the Americas. Shane has over 25 years of sales and business development experience in cellular and in-building wireless and the DAS industry. Shane originally joined SOLiD in 2011 to lead sales across the western U.S., then developed the national Third Party Owner channel program. Before joining SOLiD, Shane held positions with A.G. Communication Systems (Lucent), Xertex Tech/Centurion Wireless, NEXTEL, Sprint, and LINX Wireless. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Doug Bierbower

Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Doug Bierbower is responsible for SOLiD’s North American marketing strategy. Doug held previous roles at SOLiD in product management and business development. Before working at SOLiD, Doug was responsible for product line management at InnerWireless and Black Box. Doug has a holistic view of the industry with over 28 years in telecommunications, including 23 years of in-building wireless experience, including system design, optimization, technical support, project management, product management, and sales engineering. Doug holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and medic and is a veteran of Desert Storm.
