Powerful headend efficiently supports all three major U.S. carriers
The BARS headend unit (HE) is the core of the system. It receives and digitizes signals from up to three mobile operators, then delivers data and power to remote units (RUs) via dedicated Ethernet cables. The HE extends its coverage by supporting up to 40 RUs simultaneously. This architecture reduces costs by limiting the number of rooftop antennas needed to communicate with the outdoor network, while offering the flexibility to cover larger buildings or campus environments.
Features and Benefits
Off-air signal source provides service immediately while eliminating costly carrier fees and delays
Headend and hubs support eight (8) remote units each scaling up to 40 RUs, reducing the need for additional, costly headend and donor equipment
Auto commissioning feature reduces common errors and site visits
Interference Cancellation System (ICS) eliminates oscillation and improves quality
All three major U.S. carriers – AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon – supported in a single system
Supports three bands per carrier enabling a broader band selection when needed
Each carrier donor antenna is amplified individually, reducing the need to isolate a single carrier to increase power for the others
Web user interface allows simple commissioning
